+Keep in mind, hat fit is entirely a matter of personal preference. Some wear it up higher, some wear it down more on the forehead. You’re the only one who can decide how you want your hat to sit and rock it out.

+Tighter fits are more suitable for those active moments in life as gusts of wind can sweep it away, but slightly larger with sizing foam to size it down is typically more comfortable. You must decide what suits you best and what conditions you’ll be rocking your crown in.

+With the customized Totem Crowns, make sure you don’t wrap the measuring tape too tightly. It’s better and more comfortable to go up one size and size the sizing foam to adjust down. 

+Unsure of sizing? Pick up a cheap tape measure from Amazon and measure your noggin’ in centimeters. Hat filler AKA Sizing Foam is a great addition because it can be used to tailor the size and fit of your new Crown (and add comfort at the same time).

Sizing

The best and most accurate mode of sizing is to use a clothing tape measure(the soft flexible one) and wrap it around your head to measure in centimeters. You can pick up one for a few bucks on Amazon.

We have a few simple instructions to make sure you measure your head properly so it fits you. You will need a cloth tape measure. It also helps if you have assistance from another person to ensure accuracy. We recommend using a metric ruler and measuring your head in CM. Keep in mind, there will always be variance due to hair volume so if we round up, we can add in sizing foam to dial in the fit.

This is the “Traditional” way of wearing your hat.

1. Simply get your cloth measuring tape and place it around your head over your occipital bone (the furthest part on the back of your head).

2. Bring the measure around to the front of your head. About 5 mm above your ears and position it in the centre of your forehead, or just above the eyebrows (depending on where you want your hat to sit).

Check what size your measuring tape says. Make sure when measuring the tape is not too too tight. It’s much better to go the next size up and use sizing foam to make it fit comfortably, than to be too tight.

 S - 56CM. This is our smallest size and is only available in some styles. If your head measures 55 cm, we can add complimentary hat filler to your order, as these reduce the size of your hat by 1-2.5 cm.

M - 58CM. This is our medium size and is for an average sized head. This is the size we recommend as a ‘standard’ or ‘average’ fit. If your head measures 57cm, we can add complimentary hat filler to your order, as these reduce the size of your hat by 1-2.5 cm.

L - 60CM. Is for a large head. This is our standard size L and is the largest size we offer in most styles. we can add complimentary hat filler to your order, as these reduce the size of your hat by 1-2.5 cm.

XL - 62CM. Is for a larger than normal head or maybe some thick ass hair. We only have a couple crown styles in this size. Please inquire. We can add complimentary hat filler to your order, as these reduce the size of your hat by 1-2.5 cm.
